Sirmour is spread over a Himalayan zone, it is situated on the bank of Yamuna river. River Giri (a tributary of Yamuna) cuts through the district before it merges with river Yamuna near Paonta Sahib. Here, Asia's biggest limestone market is located at Sataun. Sirmous is sharing a border with Solan (HP), Shimla (HP), Uttrakhand, Haryana. 

RENUKA LAKE

  • Paonta Sahib Gurudwara- This Gurudwara was built in memory of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The Gurudwara enjoys a high historic and religious importance among the followers of the Sikh religion world over. It is situated in the bank of Yamuna.
  • Renuka Lake- It is the natural and largest lake in Himachal Pradesh.
  • Suketi Fossil Park- It is a National Geo Heritage Monument fossil park and Asia's biggest fossil park. The mammalian fossils found in the Shiwalik of this park are one of the world's richest antiquities.
  • Churdhar Trek- Churdhar is one of the best treks because of the panoramic view that is up on display on this route.
